Our wedding weekend takes place in Saugerties, NY—a charming town and beautiful area in the Hudson River Valley, approximately 2 - 3 hours drive from NYC (depending on traffic).
Surrounded by the Catskill Mountains, there are many gorgeous hikes, waterfalls, and other cute towns nearby like Woodstock and Kingston. Please see our Things To Do section at the bottom of this page for suggestions!

The property is a hidden gem complete with a restored 1891 barn, 34 acres of winding nature trails alongside a quaint creek, glimpses of the Catskill mountains, large open meadows, enchanted forest glades offering a charming, natural backdrop to the weekend events.

8 minutes from our main venue Black Walnut Farm, Autocamp blends a traditional outdoor experience with the service and design-forward thinking of a boutique hotel. It features various accommodation options (that can fit 2 - 6 people depending on the type), including glamping tents, airstreams, and cabins, along with beautiful grounds and other perks like camping grills, hammocks, fire pits, games, hiking trails, cafe/bar, 24hr mini-market, and more.
There will be a charter bus to take guests staying here to and from the venue site. Our after-party following the ceremony will be taking place at this location.
Note: Autocamp requires a 3-night minimum. We would love as many of our friends to stay here as possible, and encourage you to come early or stay the extra evening on Monday, since the area has so much to offer. We know this isn't possible for everyone, which is why there are other options!

If our other lodging options don't fit your plans, feel free to book on your own through Airbnb or any other local hotels. Some guests are staying at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham Saugerties which is across the highway from Holiday Inn and cheaper.
There are lots of options in the area—but reminder, we are only chartering a bus from Autocamp and the Holiday Inn, so if you stay elsewhere, you are responsible for getting around on your own. There are not many Ubers or taxis in the area, so you will most likely need a car if you aren't using our buses.
Saugerties, NY is 100 miles north of NYC, on the West bank of the Hudson River, just 1 hour 45 minutes by car (no traffic) or about 2.5 hours by bus from Manhattan.
We will be providing shuttle buses to and from Autocamp and The Holiday Inn for our main wedding events on Saturday and Sunday, but the easiest way to get around beyond that will be by car (rideshare apps are very limited in the area). If you do drive to the wedding events themselves, there is parking onsite at Black Walnut.
NYC-based guests: We suggest you carpool with friends who have cars, or rent one for the weekend. It's easy to take the bus as well (details below), but there is not much access to Uber or Lyft in the area, so if you want to get around outside of the official events we are providing a shuttle for, you'll want to have a car.
Out of town guests:
Option 1: You can fly into whichever NYC area airport makes the most sense for you—John F Kennedy (JFK), Laguardia (LGA), or Newark (EWR) and either rent a car from there to drive up, or take public transit or a taxi to Port Authority Bus Terminal and catch the bus (more details below).
Option 2: You can fly into Albany (ALB) and rent a car from there (less than 1 hour drive to Saugerties).
We suggest you use your map app of choice, but in case you are nostalgic for the era of MapQuest:
Start on I-95 N: Head north on your preferred route to get onto I-95 N.
Merge onto I-295 N: Follow signs to merge onto I-295 N toward the Bronx.
Merge onto I-87 N: Take the exit for I-87 N (New York State Thruway) toward Albany.
Continue on I-87 N: Stay on I-87 N for about 90 miles. You'll pass through various towns along the way.
Take Exit 20 for Saugerties: Look for Exit 20, which is marked for Saugerties.
Turn right onto Route 32: At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Route 32.
Follow Route 32 into Saugerties: Continue on Route 32 for about 2 miles until you reach the center of Saugerties.
On the way there
Take the 12:30pm Trailways bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal to Kingston, NY arriving at 2:40pm.
Note: We suggest you take this bus to Kingston instead of Saugerties (only 15 min away) because there is only one early-morning bus directly to Saugerties each day. There are several other bus options to the area, but we'll only be organizing a shuttle to Autocamp or Holiday Inn from the 12:30 departure - 2:40 arrival Kingston bus.
